"Almost 25  years ago I took up photography as a hobby.  But that quickly grew into a freelance business.  But now it is a fulltime business for me.  I even gave up a thirty year career in radio broadcasting to do photography fulltime.  But I have ended up combining it with a television career.  So, if I look familiar, you may better know me as “Jim Tabor, Morning Traffic guy and host of WLOX’s Shop South Mississippi.

On this website you will find a small sample of some of my work.  They include family portraits, baby shots, portfolio shots, wedding shots and those favorite “family on the beach” shots.  I promise we’ll have a fun time.  I’m not like some photographers that are “stiff shirts” and all business.  I guess you can attribute that to my years of being a radio personality.  My job is to make you feel totally at ease and comfortable during your session, while at the same time doing a professional job of capturing all those special moments and images.  I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
