WEDDINGS

Your Wedding Day is one of those “once in a lifetime” experiences that you want captured by a Professional Wedding Photographer.  A friend or family member may be a great photographer, but a professional wedding photographer has the “eye” for those special, one time only, moments.

If there is ONE thing to consider when looking for a professional wedding photographer, price is NOT an option.  What you SHOULD be looking for in a professional wedding photographer is the ability to capture this one moment for ever, in a way that you will enjoy viewing those images for the rest of your life.  For no matter how small or large your wedding might be, you will remember absolutely NOTHING of your wedding, it will be a haze in your memory and the ONLY reminder of that day will be the beautiful images captured by your invaluable professional wedding photographer.  You will treasure these wedding photos for years.  You will use these images to recall those moments that you cannot remember.  You will look at these wedding photos with your grandchildren and you will reminisce about that wonderful day in your life.

I use two styles when shooting a wedding.  First, the TRADITIONAL style.  These are posed shots of the bride & groom, the wedding party and of course family.  I like to try and take some prior to the ceremony and then the rest afterwards.  Of course the bride doesn’t want the groom to see her before the ceremony so I will usually get the bride and her bridesmaids together and do their set up shots.  Then, after shooing them back out, get the groom with the groomsmen together for theirs.  That way, all you have left following the ceremony are the group shots and family shots.  You certainly don’t want to hold up your guests from going to the reception.  And by then, you’ll be ready to party too.  Second style is the PHOTOJOURNALIST style.  These are taken prior to the ceremony (bride with bridesmaid getting ready, groom with groomsmen, etc), during the ceremony and of course during the reception.  They capture moments that can never be posed.  Plus, all this time I am shooting  digital.  This enables me to do some “special” things with digital images.  Change some to black and white, the old fashion “sepia tone” as well as some “painting”.  And I have affordable packages to fit any size wedding.
I do book up to a year ahead so make your appointment early!!

But, I have one rule when it comes to shooting a wedding.  What the bride wants, the bride gets!  This is YOUR day.

And I promise you I will make it a fun day!!

PHOTO TIPS

On the day of your wedding or if shooting a model portfolio, DON’T use any foundation or makeup that dries fast or says “won’t rub off on clothes, him, etc.”  Your face will wash out in your photographs from the flash.
